This is the beginning of a 6 week series on getting started with Preparedness. Please follow along and challenge yourself to get ready.
Introduction:
It is inevitable that hard time will come whether it is from economic hardships or natural disasters. The time to prepare is before something happens. As Christian’s we are not to respond in fear but in trust, confident and obedience to the Lord. Psalms 33:16-22 says that the one who the Lord will help is the one who looks to His mercy not the one who relies on his horses or his abundant resources. Trusting the Lord is not ignorance of the time we live in but preparing to be used by the Lord when the opportunity arises. Imagine if we are prepared spiritually and practically than when a crisis happens we can share what we have and help others with Jesus love in the time of great need.
The following outline is a starting point. These 6 weeks are designed to give you simple steps to start out so that you do not get overwhelmed.

2) Put the date of purchase on your water and food containers with a felt tip pen; this way you will know when it is time to use your stash and replace it with fresh.
